MOZART® 3D Specimen Tomosynthesis System

The MOZART System is a major advancement in breast cancer margin assessment from KUBTEC.

It uses 3D tomosynthesis X-ray technology, the gold standard for diagnostic mammography, to enable surgeons and radiologists to accurately detect positive margins in breast cancer patients undergoing segmental mastectomy.¹.

The MOZART System utilizes 3D tomosynthesis, which enables analysis in 1 millimeter digital slices.  Each slice has its own margin, and can be viewed independently, unobscured by dense tissue above or below.

2D imaging is limited in what it actually enables the surgeon to see, as it doesn’t provide a full picture of the internal tissue of the surgical specimen, whereas 3D tomosynthesis allows the visualization of the breast specimen in three dimensions.
